Teaches Baseball Pitching based on body type and natural
throwing tendencies stressing rhythm and balance plus the
mechanics of explosive power. All pitchers will learn at least
five pitches directly off of the fastball delivery.
Teaches Softball Pitching based on natural tendencies stressing
rhythm and staying on plane with a base of releasing directly
behind the ball. All pitchers will learn a drop, rise,
screwball, and an offspeed pitch of some kind.
Teaches Hitting based on natural tendencies and will employ a
combination of rotational hitting with linear hitting to best
fit the athlete. Softball hitters will be taught how to hit
without a stride and all how to slap and bunt for a basehit.
Terry's method is easy to learn with hands staying inside the
ball and barrel of the bat staying squarely behind the path of
the ball in order to drive most pitches to the appropriate field
depending on pitch location.
Teaches Fielding mechanics stressing the importance of "hitchless"
glove mechanics combined with proper and efficient footwork,
transitioning to throwing mechanics from various angles
depending on the play required.
Played college baseball at Air Force Academy
Pitched batting practice for the Kansas City Royals in 1981
Spent 10 days in Spring Training building an inventory of
digital film clips of over a hundred professional players
executing hitting, pitching and defensive skills all over the
field in practice and game action.
