Judy is currently owner/operator of her own company  www.inthezonesoftball.com that helps fastpitch softball players enhance their skills through private lessons and clinics in Olathe, KS, Johnson County and the Kansas City, Missouri Metro area.

In 10 years as an NCAA Division I and II head softball coach, Judy Favor earned four Coach-of-the-Year honors, led her teams to 5 straight NCAA National Tournaments, and amassed a 336-188 career record. She also developed 6 NCAA All-Americans, 28 All-Region, and 27 All-Conference Players including 2 who played in the Women's Professional Fastpitch League and 1 who played on the 2000 Canadian Olympic Team and was a Pan Am Games silver medallist.

Respected among college colleagues for her ability to develop and get the most out of her players, Coach Favor has been a private fastpitch pitching and hitting coach and has conducted softball lessons, camps, and clinics for over 20 years. She is a member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association and holds Bachelor's degrees in physical education and English, and a Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Health, Sports, and Exercise Science.

  • 1993 PBAC Conference Rookie of the Year – pitcher
  • 1994 NCAA Statistical Champion Most Saves
  • 1997 PBAC Freshman of the Year - pitcher
  • 1998 PBAC Conference Player of the Year
  • 1999 PBAC Conference Freshman of the Year – pitcher
  • 1999 PBAC Conference Player of the Year - pitcher
  • 1999 CSU Player of the Year - pitcher
  • 6 NCAA All-Americans
  • 28 All-Region Players
  • 27 All-Conference Players
  • 2 Women’s Professional Fastpitch Players
  • 2 Columbus State University Hall of Fame inductees
