Hitting  League Rules

All games will be played on enclosed 70' x 70' x 27' Cage 

Live Pitching and Catching

·       MUST BE BETWEEN WHITE LINES

·       BALL HITS NET OVER INFIELD = OUT

·       BALL HITS ANY VERTICAL NETTING = POINT

·       3 STRIKES = OUT

·       4 PITCHES CALL BALL = POINT

·       FREE SUBSTITUTION

·       NO BUNTING

·       HIT BATTER = POINT (PLAYER HAS CHOICE TO TAKE POINT OR CONTINUE)

·       CLEANLY PLAYED (FIELDED/THROWN/CAUGHT) GROUND BALL = OUT*

·       ANY MISPLAYED BALL = POINT*

·       A DROPPED 3RD STRIKE WILL CAUSE THE AT BAT TO CONTINUE.

*** All judgement calls made by the umpires WILL NOT be disputed. Warnings will be issued and you may be asked to leave***

Teams with fielders will be:

All ages for girls with the following rule- 16 and over it is recommended that the corners wear face mask on infield

Boys 13 and over will be pitcher and catcher only still 5 on a team - NO fielders!!
