Carl has been in baseball for over 60 years. Many of those years he has worked as a Professional Scout, among those teams are The Royals, Brewers. He has been a scout for the Midwest, Southeastern and the Eastern Regions.

Carl is currently working with Rockhurst College as a hitting coach and as a recruiter.
